Good deal, I'm glad you moved it here so that it isn't lost in the other thread. Folks need to do their research on real issues and answers before they vote.
They need to follow the money trail as well, and also follow up with snopes or a truth finder website to see what is hype and what is real!
In this day in age of technology it is no excuse for people not knowing were their candidate stands on the issues and what their voting and political and civic histories are.
I'll find the money trail link I had at one time, and the truth finders link too. I think those are important as well.

Update: You can search more than just the current congress legislation with the "Thomas" link http://thomas.loc.gov/Middle of the home page, underneath "Find More Legislation" is "Search Multiple, Previous Congresses". It lists the Congresses by number (current is 110). Took me a little while to figure it out. Wolfgirl I agree with you 100%.

So Sorry! I'll get this right at some point: http://thomas.loc.gov/ home page > Left column, "Bills, Resolutions" > Mid bottom of page "Advanced Search". There you can look things up by Rep./Sen. for past Congressional sessions.
