War of Choice

I have run across this today in the NYT online. 

Read it and keep reminding yourself: "This Was A War of George Bush's Choice".  It is fine to report that that troops but into an embarrassingly impossible position did what all military folks do when given the short straw: they do their job and then some, and then they just break.

But the military's view that this found information is somehow a breach of security and they are considering prosecuting the finder and reporter----please.  That is over the top and reveals a moral morass in current thinking.
