Freedom from what? may I ask....
“The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions, that I wish it to be always kept alive. It will often be exercised when wrong, but better so than not to be exercised at all. I like a little rebellion now and then.” Thomas Jefferson

You know when that song came out, I felt it, it moved me, it represented my feelings. But ever since we preemptively went into Iraq, destroyed our image in the world, decimated the economy, stomped on and impinged on our own citizens constitutional rights, not to mention the rights of other countries to be sovereign, I dont' feel so proud, and no, I don't feel so free.

I admit that the Bush administration screwed up big time and we have to fix it but it's not going to be fixed with Obama. Biden even voted for the war. Anyways when we do have things that need fixing even then it's the greatest country in the world and I am still a proud American. For those of us who are not proud there are options, if you don't love it you can leave it........Remember Obama voted for FISA while your at it. http://www.examiner.com/x-268-Right-Side-Politics-Examiner

Destiny don't leave, I know your a true American. Maybe Canada would be okay, I'm not sure as I am not going anywhere but I do know this, don't go to England or Germany, they are going down the drain. I know that cause Bob is from England and keeps up the news over there.

No we were talking Canada, a friend of mine is married to a Canadian, she is thinking about going up there and applying for citizenship herself, she said in a couple years they could sponsor us. If the health insurance situation doesn't change here, its a serious consideration. But the thing is, I really do love this country, so for now I will stay and try and fight to make it the country it once was!
