Question On Warnings And Suspension

I'm not sure on some of the rules and how they exactly work so I'm asking for some clarification. We all can lose our tempers at one time or another especially with this terrible election of 2008. My questions are as follows:

1. I understand we must be respectful of all members and admins and we can not direct hate full remarks to one another. If we are warned 3 times do we get a short suspension before being fully banned from the site?

2. Is it 3 times and out for good? I was banned from a political site without any warnings. On paltalk admins of the room can red dot you and either keep you out of that room or ban you for 24 hours. It's the admin of the room who has control over their own room and there are hundreds of rooms on paltalk if not a thousand or more. Paltalk the real top admins, those are the ones who are connect to the owners of Paltalk will ban you completely off the whole site if your a constant trouble maker and you can report contant trouble makers to the top dog admins. Every site is different so is it 3 times out for good on this site?

3. What if we have warnings already from a long time ago what happens? I mean if a warning was almost a year ago does it still count or do we get 6 months or something like that and start the count over again?

4. Who is Hal? Who are these blue moderators, are they the ones who are the owners of all their sites so others can make a blog site?

5. I think we are all subject to these rules meaning members and core members is that correct?

6. If someone has for instance 6000 post and someone has 10 posts is there any consideration to the one who has 6,000 posts? I'm just thinking that's alot of posts to get 3 warnings especially if your completely banned from the site?

Hal is our name for the moderators who will issue the warnings, who read the reported posts and vote on what action to take.

It doesnt matter if you have 6 or 6000 posts - 3 warnings is 3 warnings - and are 3 too many.

3rd warning results in temporary suspension depending upon the offense.  If serious enough it could be a permanent ban - no warning, no excuses.  If you continue past that once youre suspencion is lifted, consider your time here limited as you will be permanently banned.  I've done it before - why I've hesitated to do it recently is beyond me.  I like to give everyone every possible chance.  A few of you have used up more than your fair chances.

It seems to me right now there are 2-3 people that are sucking the energy out of this site.  I've personally had enough.  So have all the "hal's" on the site.  There will be additional action taken - that is in the planning right now.

As I have been doing this with no compensation and clearly no rewards, my time is seriously limited.  Other things are drawing my time away.  THe amount of babysitting the site is taking lately is obscene.  Others have been spending far too much time dealing with the childish behavior here.  This behavior wouldnt be tolerated in a professional work environment - it wont be tolerated here no matter the level of the member.  Alternately - "talking back" to an admin or moderator won't fly either.  Someone is lucky they haven't been banned already for that one.

Diplomacy has left the room where this issue is concerned simply because the same few people have been going on for far too long playing off each other purposely looking for a fight and causing everyone else grief.

No where else in this country do you get free babysitting - other than your parents.   IF things dont improve we're discussing the future or future form of this site.

The time for excuses is past.  So dont even go there.
Questioning the authority of the HALs of this site is pointless.
You few have pushed the limits of our patience.  There is no turning back except for you to straighten up and stop the idiocy, the anger, the fighting and purposely seeking out one another for argument.  And dont argue about that - its blatantly evident.

keep your arguments to yourself.  Constructive worhtwhile input and dialogue is acceptable.

For those few - no more ms nice guy.  You've eaten away all the patience and diplomacy.

The next person to argue with any of the Hals or myself will be temprarily banned.   Period.
